MT WELLINGTON, AUCKLAND OFF RAMP - LANE CHANGE TO EXIT ONLY : National Road Carriers

From Friday 26th August the far left lane approaching the southbound Mt Wellington off ramp will become a dedicated exit only lane.

 Currently the lane continues approx. 200m after the off ramp and then merges.

 Removing this merge lane will help to reduce the bottleneck that occurs and improve the efficiency of traffic flow.

 Our team will be working at night from Sunday 21st August to complete this lane change.

 To warn and advise drivers of this change in lane layout, temporary variable message boards will be in place a few days before and following the work and new signage will be installed.
