Justin's Transport Minute

November has arrived, and that means the NRC team is heading to beautiful Northland for our annual member meetings.

This year we will be at Taipa on Thursday 23rd November and Whangarei Friday 24th November. We’re grateful for the generous support of Cal Isuzu and Keith Andrews to help make these events possible. This year we will be welcoming the new NZTA National Manager Maintenance and Operations, Andrew Clark, who will be joining us to talk through roading plans and progress for Northland. Andrew has been on board for two weeks, and already met with the NRC team which is off to a fantastic start as far as we are concerned!

Leaving the office behind and meeting members at these events is one of the highlights of my year, I really enjoy the chats with operators of all stripes and vintages.

For those of you lucky enough to live in that part of the world, drop the times in your diaries now, and look forward to seeing you there.

Lastly, I would like to give a warm welcome to Chris Metcalf who has joined NRC this month as our Member Support Coordinator. Many of you will be hearing from Chris, who will be checking in with you to make sure that you are getting the most from your NRC membership. He’ll be coming up to speed working closely with our existing team of industry experts.

Have a great weekend.

Justin
