WHERE DO HYDROGEN, ELECTRIC, CLEAN DIESEL & BIOFUELS ALL FIT?

In early 2018 National Road Carriers Assn. embarked on a sustainability project to raise awareness among our membership of the possible options open to them to become more environmentally and sustainably responsible.

As part of this project we are holding a breakfast seminar on 31^st July 2019 at the Remuera Club in Auckland from 7am to 9am entitled ‘Future of Freight’ to inform our members for future developments in the industry specifically surrounding future fuels. This event is proudly sponsored by Teletrac Navman.

We have been fortunate to secure four speakers to talk on their specialised areas of expertise surrounding possible heavy traffic fuel solutions. These are:

Biofuels – Mike Bennetts – CEO Z Energy

Hydrogen – Linda Wright – CEO Hydrogen NZ

Diesel – Pieter Theron – Senior Manager, Daimler Truck and Bus NZ

Electric – Sam Donaldson – Senior Project Engineer – Electric Vehicles, Waste Management

The event will be hosted by David Aitken, CEO National Road Carriers and the Chief Executive of the Road Transport Forum, Nick Leggett, will be in attendance to direct a Q&A session for the panel of speakers at the end of the presentations. The event will be professionally recorded and placed on our website for greater coverage.
