DRIVER LICENCING REVIEW DISCUSSION PAPER - APRIL 2016

After a long gestation period the authorities at Ministry of Transport and NZ Transport Agency have finally released a driver licencing review discussion document that presents some promising alternative approaches for progression through the graduated scheme for commercial drivers. The paper was released late yesterday afternoon.
The RTF has been working with the Agency on streamlining the Licencing scheme to facilitate movement through the different levels that make up the graduated scheme and help remove some of the costs.
