Changes to use by CVIU - Orange & Yellow Pass inspection stickers

The purpose of this memo is to advise members of changes that Police are making to the issuing of Orange and Yellow stickers where a vehicle has passed a Level 3 or Level 5 vehicle inspection.

Police have reviewed their current practice around the use of Level 3 (Orange) and Level 5 (Yellow) passed inspection stickers.

To bring the use of these stickers into line with other Road Policing protocols and ensure road safety, CVIU will now issue these stickers for a 14 day period.

The changes will take effect from 1 November 2016.
