Auckland Got a Trade SpeedMeet is taking place on Wednesday 26 October at Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) in South Auckland.

Got a Trade? Got it Made! and Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) have teamed up to offer this unique opportunity to help job seekers enter trades and services industries.

MITO is a partner of SpeedMeet so we’re looking for employers to participate that may be looking for new employees – either now or in 2017 - and we thought you might like to help spread the word to your members and employers.

What is SpeedMeet?

SpeedMeet brings together jobseekers and employers - speed-dating style! Employers will meet with job seekers for five minutes, note down whether they'd like to know more and then meet with the next job seeker. At the end of the event matches may be made and employers might just find their next employee!

Sounds good, how do employers get involved?

It’s simple. All they need to do is register their interest by completing a registration form before 19 October and then the organising committee will be back in touch.
